Dominican Residency Law.
It is very easy to get a Dominican residency. First, you need to apply for your temporary residency, Once your temporary residency is granted it will be valid for one year and then you need to apply for your Cedula (local identification ID) with your cedula you will have the right to work legally in the Dominican Republic. With your Cedula, you won’t be required to purchase a tourist card anymore to enter the country. After one year you will have to renew your temporary residency permit for one more year, after 5 years residing legally in the Dominican Republic you will be entitled to apply for the permanent status.
